The Whippet Wranch is located on property north of Paris in NE Texas. The dog section is fenced, the tracks have been groomed to make it safe dogs. The rest of the space is subject to random acts of nature....such as stupid feral hogs!
For those traveling to the Wranch from afar, multiple hotels are available approximarely 10 miles from the property. Camping is allowed with permission from the owner and the caveat that all trash must be picked up and removed.
Whippet tested hotels in the area include the LaQuinta and Best Western (Currently changing to the Best Value America Inn but the signage still says "Best Western". Other hotels are listed here. Whether or not other hotels are dog appropriate has not been investigated.
